Endovascular procedures such as diagnostic arteriograms, angioplasty and stent placement, dialysis catheter placement, dialysis access angiography, thrombectomy and angioplasty are all performed here.
The VSA Vascular Centers are staffed by our physicians, a dedicated group of experienced nurses and angiography technologists. Patients seen at VSA Vascular Centers are scheduled for procedures after evaluation in one of our physician’s offices or by direct referral from a dialysis unit.
Vascular Surgery Associates in Richmond, Virginia has demonstrated its commitment to patient safety by gaining accreditation from the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities (AAAASF). To earn its accreditation, Vascular Surgery Associates passed inspection on hundreds of important criteria concerning patient safety. AAAASF facility surveyors are board-certified medical specialists trained to perform a thorough and complete facility inspection.
